In the production of medical consumer goods, the autoclave is used for sterilization and disinfection. Each autoclave has 4 chambers in which medical products are sterilized with saturated steam at 2.7 bar and 130 °C. In order to regulate the water level in the condensing tank, the water level must be measured reliably. In order to achieve the best and most reliable autoclaving process, additional overpressure is measured.
