Aluminum is extracted from natural bauxite through a complex process. To extract alumina using the Bayer process, bauxite is first mixed with a sodium hydroxide solution, then pressurized and stirred. Finally, it is dehydrated in the calciner to obtain white fine powder, that is, alumina (Al2O3). Liquid level measurement ensures safe operation of equipment.
